the situation
Following the move to a new location, the client had created sales promotions for both existing and new customers and was looking for the best way to communicate these offers to each target market while offering a refresh to their existing branding.
results
We recommended an Addressed Canada Post Admail campaign for past clients and an unaddressed Canada Post Admail to targeted high-income neighbourhoods.
For Past Customers: Exceeded revenue targets, prompted unplanned visits by customers, positive customer feedback on store's "new look" and new branding, positive client feedback on design of the mailers.
For New Customers: Exceeded targets and prompted client to order third direct mail campaign.
why this worked
Our Graphic Design Lead designed custom artwork; an eye-catching, folded postcard format, specifically designed for the client’s target market.
We added a tear-off promotion to highlight a special offer, generate urgency and make it quick and easy to measure response.
Added Value: We offered free design for their client’s business cards. As such, we were subsequently invited to handle printing, as well. We printed the cards on a unique stock that impressed the store's staff and customers, but there was no increase in the price paid by the client for business card printing.
